Buckling a seatbelt takes seconds. But, those seconds save lives.
The Willy Foundation has made it a priority to raise awareness of seatbelt safety.
Each school in Kanawha County has a Wear A Seatbelt sign exiting its parking lot that resembles the WAS Logo sticker. It is a simple reminder to wear a seatbelt. 177 signs have already been placed. We are continuing the placement of these signs in Kanawha County as well as into other counties, such as Jackson County and Putnam County. In addition, the Kanawha County Commission has placed 100 signs, and the City of Charleston has placed them at city garages and parking lots.
